V8 TRIKE

By Shaun Collins

"I normally have loads to say if something doesn't work right but the RAGE 2 is just brill"

I've been building many things using the rage 2. I cant fault it at all! Now i'm in need of my first replacement blade after 2 years! I've been building motor homes, using wood and steel frames, and i'm also now putting together a V8 Trike that's taking its time to build. The saw is very handy for cutting steel tube for building tail pipes and it cuts the angles perfectly. I normally have loads to say if something doesn't work right but the RAGE 2 is just brill, I was even cutting thick steel blocks and it just did it with no problems. I was told when I got the saw that it is only good for thin steel. Well cobblers it will cut bigger stuff aswell. A pic of the frame I made with 6mm steel in places and the saw did the lot. No probs. Very happy!

STOCK CAR

By Matthew Abdy

"The cuts were ultra clean and quick with no heat build up – fantastic!"

I have used the RAGE2 355mm Multipurpose Cut Off Saw in constructing the chassis, roll cage and various other sections of my stock car. The cuts were ultra clean and quick with no heat build up – fantastic! I have managed to get this work done in a fraction of the time I thought it would take and I now have a rolling chassis (see the pics!).

HOTROD HOBBYIST

By John Kowalski

"I am looking forward to using the saw on my next project and to help out my friends on their projects."

After looking on the internet to research cold cutting metal saws I found the Evolution website. Wow was I impressed after a little searching I ordered a Rage 2 saw. I am an avid hotrod hobbyist and finally getting close to completing my first project and bought the saw to complete my project. My hotrod is a full custom 1949 GMC half ton truck that I am building a custom bed on. I have attached a picture of the bed and he cab of the truck. This was the first thing I have used the saw on and I love the fact that all the materials that I will be using to complete the bed steel, wood and aluminum. I am looking forward to using the saw on my next project and to help out my friends on their projects.

ROCK SLIDERS

By Darren Evans

"These are quality made saws at super fair prices. I can't imagine going back to an abrasive saw."

I purchased the Rage II a few weeks ago. I have been building rock sliders for fellow members of a military vehicle forum. I use this saw on almost all of the required cuts. The rock sliders are made of thick walled rectangle tubing and pipe. I bought the Rage III this weekend because of some compound angles that are required in the builds. So far I love both saws and have put away my abrasive chop saw. I've told several of my friends about these saws. Most asked why they can't just buy a carbide toothed blade for their chop saws. I tell them about the low rpm's these saws turn and how high rpm saws don't do well with carbide blades on steel. I am a machinist and have to say I was skeptical about these saws being able to make cuts without excessive chatter. After the first few cuts I knew exactly how much pressure to use to keep it cutting smooth. These are quality made saws at super fair prices. I can't imagine going back to an abrasive saw. I'm sold on these saws and haven't been shy about telling my buddies about them!!! Thanks for the great products!!!
